Kevin, Matt and Greg Brinkmann and a friend joined us for their annual day after thanksgiving bass trip and true to the tradition the weather tried to throw everything at us, it was actually a nice day until the wind came up in the afternoon. We took a slow ride up the beach until we stumbled upon some birds in about 50ft of water, first fish up on the jig was a keeper and by 8:45am we had our 4 man limit of bass to 15lbs and lost several more. The Bluefin were busting all around us by mid morning and everyone wanted to give it a shot since some of the fish looked to be over 200lbs, after 2 hours of spectacular Bluefin sight seeing we moved on to some blackfish which left much to be desired, maybe because the first fish over the side was a monster 11.5 pounder that Matt caught. Nice day and plenty of action.
